When we young pups we'd be listening to Alice Cooper, The Doors, Allman Brothers, Poco, Pink Floyd, etc., etc. and then rush home to watch "Hee-Haw"!


Dwight does a fine job of capturing Buck's spirit and sound on this recording. Gonna let this one spin again!

I've gotta give Dwight Yoakam kudos ~ man, he'd fill the floors when I was doing a lot of Country dance parties. Talk about high energy dance tunes... he did 'em. Them dancers would swing 'round the floor.

One of the tracks on my Buck Owens comp set is Streets Of Bakersfield, a duet with Dwight that I prefer over the original version.

We probably have about 15 Buck songs in our traveling library and get to break one out, every once in awhile..although not often enough!

I use Dwight's cover of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" as much as I can.

I've got a buddy who professes to "hate Country music", but absolutely loves Dwight! Go figger that one out!

I believe that I have that duet somewhere around here, gonna have to do some searching....
