My wife telling me that the OBGYN's nurse told my wife to take a pregnancy test, even though I had a vasectomy 6 years ago....
And I'm NOT kidding. :sqerr:
Not pregnant... as I assumed.... not sure if I am happy or not! :sqerr:

Draggin' The Line - Tommy James
Still trying to figure out whether it's about working on a boat, or snortin' some blow...
"My dog Sam eats purple flowers,
Ain't got much, but what we got's ours.
We dig snow, and rain, and the bright sunshine,
Draggin' the line..."

Aw thanks, Brother Kirby. There's hope for you yet. I've got a Buck Owens disc set that I listen to on ocasion. Tonight feels like one of those occasions.
Now... don't you feel better?
Currently, I'm working me way through the ancient Bluegrass tunes. I love this music.![]()

Ah... I hear ya there, Kirby.
I've gotta give Dwight Yoakam kudos ~ man, he'd fill the floors when I was doing a lot of Country dance parties. Talk about high energy dance tunes... he did 'em. Them dancers would swing 'round the floor.
One of the tracks on my Buck Owens comp set is Streets Of Bakersfield, a duet with Dwight that I prefer over the original version.

I can see 'em out there now on that huge, wooden dance floor spinnin' 'round.Oh, the people would come from far away
They danced all night till the break of day
When the caller hollered, "do-se-do"
You knew Uncle Pen was ready to go
Late in the evening about sundown
High on the hill and above the town
Uncle Pen played the fiddle, Lord how it would ring
You could hear it talk, you could hear it sing
He played a little tune he called "Soldier's Joy"
And the one he called "The Boston Boy"
But the greatest of all was "Jenny Lynn"
To me that's where fiddlin' begins
Late in the evening about sundown
High on the hill and above the town
Uncle Pen played the fiddle, Lord how it would ring
You could hear it talk, you could hear it sing
But I'll never forget that mournful day
When Uncle Pen was called away
They hung up his fiddle, and they hung up his bow
They knew it was time for him to go
Late in the evening about sundown
High on the hill and above the town
Uncle Pen played the fiddle, Lord how it would ring
You could hear it talk, you could hear it sing
Best I could do on short notice...
