Down in the lower left hand side.... it is a little something other than then "Thanks" button.

You can give rep and leave a comment at the same time.... It looks like a little scale... LOL
 
also if you leave reputation first then you can also thank the individual. It wont work the other way around thanking first and then trying to give rep.

and if you just thanked him so it doesn't work now.......try it out on mine. :sqwink: Cause you know you have to spread the Love (aka Rep Points), can't just give it to one person.
