I don't know why you are having this problem... It's fine when I try to log in as user and as admin. Are you doing it right? When you log in to the gateway, you have to click the link for your 'Active Subscription', and then it will take you to the download area where you (unfortunately) have to log in again. These are both CasE SeNsitVE, so you need to type BOTH your name and password the way you had it when you signed up. So if you put Andy as your login, you can't put andy.

If you still can't get in, let me know and I'll figure another plan out. But this should work, like I said it worked fine for me. =)

No it doesnt work. I login with my signin andywilson & correct password and make posts but when i try & login to the archive section using the same logins it rejects either the password or my signin of andywilson. Then when i click retrieve password to be sent to my email address , i receive no email. Have tried it numerous times. I've paid my subscription by paypal. Perhaps you can email me a temporary signin & password to get me by as i've been locked out since Friday. My email is [email protected]
 
Thanks for sorting that Jy. I like the Adele mix. I wonder if a remix of Adeles "Someone like you" might be in the pipeline, its hugely popular but a dancefloor killer in its original format. Its a slow ballad but could be more dj friendly with a backbeat behind it .

Heheh..Yes , official request please. Another popular track that is not dance orientated is Lazy [Bruno Mars], i've heard a few electromixes, but the electro treatment is not the kind of remix it needs.No doubt some songs are hard to remix if there original format wasn't dance orientated & that represents a greater challenge.

I always have that song on my "to do" list (the lazy song) but it always seems that I forget it, and then I think I may be too late on it. I'll do it, but I don't know how much more danceable I can make it... not knowing for sure I am guessing it is in the 80's BPM-wise, which doesnt give you a lot of choices unless you go gangsta / crunk style. But I can make it playable at least, and you could always use it as filler (if you DJ any clubs or bars), or as warm-up music (if you do dances / events). I don't think this track will ever be "prime time" dancefloor material, but let me see what I can do with it.

After listening to the Adele song.... this is going to be a full on remix. The song has NO drums to work with, in fact all it has is the piano. ONE piano. lol
So that means I get to add whatever I want! So I think I am gonna mess with it and see what I come up with.... after messing with it, the piano is at least sequenced. It's on a STRAIGHT 135 BPM, which you never ever ever get live. You only get a straight bpm if something is sequenced, so thats a good thing. It makes things A LOT easier.
 
ABC by the Jackson 5 , in its original release doesn't have much in the way of a back beat.I played it last Saturday at a 50th birthday bash where "Motown & Soul" were the flava of the night. ABC really did not work for the dance floor, and mainly because of that lack of backbeat..There are lots of reworkings of it out there , but nothing great. Naughty by Nature resurrected it sampling it in OPP & made the magic happen all over again.
I still have the Ultimix 50th Anniversary edition cd from a longtime back where "ABC" & "I want you back" were melded together....It started with a vocal intro "Ladies & gentlemen, The Jackson 5"
What do you think Jy ? Maybe one to work on?
 
If you want, just for you, not an official JyMix... I could take the back beat from OPP and throw ABC over it. OR.... as an official JyMix, I could totally rework it using samples of the original ABC, OPP, and the acapella of ABC.

Oh and I totally removed the pianos of the Adele song, so it's a complete acapella now. I am deciding what to do with it. It's a really depressing song actually lol. It sounds MUCH better with the slow beat I made for one of the breaks, and I am deciding whether to do a straight house beat or a miami bass kind of beat using some old school skate jam samples. Decisions decisions!
And I think I am going to take a break from that song today (been putting in 8-10 hours a day on making the beat structure alone!) and do the Bruno Mars track. The ABC song sounds like a welcome break too, so let me know what you wanna do with it :D
 
I think about all that can be done with "someone like you" track is a simple backbeat.It is a depressing song, must admit but has been at no1 for awhile. You dont realise its about breaking up & broken hearts until listening to it.

Right??!? Its SUPER depressing! I am working on more than a simple back beat, I am trying to do a full-on dance mix of it using the acapella I made.

Man.... rl kickin my butt! I come on here to find 8 pages of unread stuff lol.
I am planning on grabbin that "Fire" instrumental today and working on that and possibly another song.
I get "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" for my Xbox on Tuesday (had it pre-ordered for over 6 months now lol) so I will be caught up in that for a couple days at least... so I figure I have today to knock out a couple songs and hopefully a video!

Any videos you guys want of anything I have done? I am slacking on moving that stuff to the archives too, I should be doing that today... but I could still do a video for it all the same. I would even do one from a track in the archives, so let me know if you need ANY video for any track that I have done.
