Chuck,
Do you have the ladies hold your pole or do you hold it yourself?

Now it all depends on how cute she is!

.... It takes a really long pole to accomplish that task.

Sniff....

I'm humbled sir.

Thank you for the compliment....I think. :sqerr:

Now back to your thread!

Chuck,

Good luck today!

Chauvet Bubble King vs. American DJ Bubble Blaster

I just picked up a American DJ Bubble Blaster the other day for a smokin' deal. Only $200 (retails at $299)! I'm actually impressed with it...it has the wireless remote along with casters on the bottom of it that makes it easy to move around. It also has a simple drain valve on the back so you never really have to touch the bubble juice.

For those who have the Bubble King...why do you like it? I'm thinking about picking up one more machine and was looking for some stats on this.

I think we liked the price... but if I could get a Bubble Blaster for $200 I might if I ver needed another machine. But I have 3 Bubble Kings now.

Ok, just got back from my 1st BP of the year.

It went GREAT!!!!!! Better than ANY I did last year. Again, I credit this to my heart attack. I was totally able to let loose and act like an idiot! Kids were high fiving me, and hugging me. It was awesome! But "I' was much better than I ever was before.

The director of the daycare already told me she plans to use me at least 2 more times this year, and will recommend me to the rest in the chain. She also said that I probably UNDERCHARGE for what they get. ( I charged $195 )...

On top of that, I gave out 60+ cards in the kids cubbies, and one teacher asked me for 15 cards for herself. I never found out why.

Having about 50 kids at the party was a little rough, though. And, as always, SOME of the teachers did not get involved at all. In fact, the director told me that next time the teachers will be told that they MUST be more involved.

The song that went over the best? We Will Rock You! It was a hoot! I had the kids stomping their feet and swaying their hands in the air. The director took at least one picture for me... hopefully more, but I haven't checked my camera card yet.

What a fun day! And 70 degrees was REALLY NICE!

BTW, I used a headset mic today... first time ever. What a GIGANTIC difference that makes! Lets you walk out among the kids and be part of the action.

Papa which Mike and how did it perform asides allowing you such awesome freedom?

I don't have a model number, but it was a cheap Nady. It works better than one I paid almost 2x as much for. Rictrax gave me the model... I think you can find it earlier in this thread.

Hey Chuck,

I'm glad you acted like an idiot!!!:sqwink:

What else worked best for you? How were the bubbles? Tell me more, Te,, me more, like does he.........

Well I knew after Vegas and more sharing here you would do nothing but even better than before. Good Job Papa. Your doing us all proud.

Ron, almost everything worked except the Chicken Dance. Too many kids, I guess. I also used the huge bubble wands today... small breeze was perfect for it.

I also played U Can't Touch This... and the kids LOVED it.

One thing I do, since it is kids, is if it isn't working, I move right on. I keep a Bubble party playlist for 90 minutes in iTunes.

I also play the Spongebob theme 3x in a row. I make them sing it louder the 2nd time, then I tell them that I will play it a 3rd time, and ONLY if they sing it REALLY LOUD, will I put the bubbles back on.... You should hear it! Like a darn concert!

Did you use the Burger tune?

Nope, and not sure I will. I showed it to some moms who find it offensive and promoting obesity.

I have a url I will look for and post up it has some bubble games listed I saw it on a product at Superstore might be worth checking out if nothing more than spurring on additional idea.

Papa,

Have used or heard of the following songs.

Popping Bubbles – Dora The Explorer

Bubbles – Barney

Do kids still like Barney?

You're not playing ferrell either. What's up with that. Don't you like roll playing. How about if you play a little school girl and Jon can be the...:sqcool:

Seriously, what did you do with "Can't Touch This". Did you have a skit or something, maybe a game?

Ron you might want to seek help. I understand Hillary is promising programs and studies for these things.
