On a serious note, this has to be one of the coolest, if not THE coolest spot on the net. I'm still a newbie too and I think for the most part, we have been helping each other. I also think Dan's right - let's stop the little stuff before it turns into big stuff and no one wants to be here. We have a nice place - let's keep it that way and be a model for other sites to try to emulate. You all are really cool. In the short time that I've been here, I've learned alot about things I'm not doing right (or just plain old not doing) and even better - more about the things I can do better or am doing right. This is not a one size fits all and I think we have some of the BEST people and ideas on here to help with most any idea, situation or condition. In turn, I hope I have helped others too. I think I've made some cool friends on here and over time, hopefully they will become great friends.

Ed - stop giving your computer wine! Seriously, from an IT perspective - there's nothing worse than a computer sending A's and B's instead of 0's and 1's.

Agreed. Which is why deletions are pretty much always a last resort and such decisions aren't made lightly. Same goes for bans. When someone won't/cannot/refuses to conduct themselves in a respectful manner toward the rest of the community that's what needs to happen. Outside of talking with someone (which always happens first) deletions and bans are my the only tools available to myself and the other mods.
