What are you charging for a sweet 16?
My Base pricing:
Sun - Friday $300 for 3 hours or $100 an Hour
Sat - $400 for 3 Hours and $125 each additional.
This includes a basic 2 fixture light package and a dual 18" sound upgrade.
I offer a larger lighting package for $50
Monogram lighting for $200 ( 2 gobos cost $140 )
200 pc Glow package $50 ( My cost $12 )
Single screen music video upgrade $150 or dual for $300
Uplighting - Pricing depends on Single Color or Changing
Most of my sweet 16's I have some kind of upsale. I you are going to do these parties I suggest some type of additional options to sell.

Pretty close to what I charged.... a flat $300 up to 4 hours w/basic lighting package and $150/hour for overtime..... I hadn't thought of all the other things you mentioned.... good food for thought for next time.
I've never tried to market myself to this type of event before so any insight you have would be appreciated..... as many people get married just as many that married ruffly 16 years ago are now planning Sweet 16's.
Oh and yes I did book it so if there is anyone in the Centreville MI area that is looking to book Aug. 1 I have a potential lead for ya.... send me a PM for details.
Actually I'm not yet.... I am looking at either the Goboman light or springing for a projector....
Does anyone know if there are any specific songs relating to Sweet 16's or any traditional activities.... or really anything relating specifically to Sweet 16's that you do or have seen done?
I'm doing great. I'm almost complete with my taxes if you wish I will get you a pdf of my tax return.
I make over $80K a year more than enough to make me happy.
I generally plan some type of grand entrance.
We have done live video feed of her new car being pulled up.
The only specific song is Hillary Duff - Sweet 16
It's the song used on the MTV show.
I don't do games or anything like that. My Sweet 16's are like any other event.

You may ask about the car, So far every girl this year has gotten a car (7). Last year only (1) girl out of 15 didn't get a car that is cause she wanted a trip to France. I find it funny cause the law here has changed you cant drive when you are 16 anymore, you can only get your learners permit.
There wont be any car... but they are planning on a horse drawn carriage arrival.... plus rides for all the guests... so the first hour or so will be sucked up by that.... then dinner... real dancing probably will only be 2 hours.
