Have requested, and did you play?

I have had so many requested that I don't even know how many. So far, I have played "Billie Jean" and "Thriller". I have one and 1/2 hours to go, so you can bet more will come.

I mashed up my own for last nights event and had a thriller tribute with the class doing the dance. Their request I have video and pictures.

I have had ZERO request for any MJ songs over the last two days.

Only ONE attempt (very badly) to sing an MJ song at Karaoke, even my great MJ impersonator did "0" MJ songs at the show Friday night (too his credit) He stuck with Journey and Tom Petty songs!

Had requests for Billie Jean and Thriller. Played them back to back with a little spoken intro from yours truly.

I played Billie Jean and it dropped the floor for the most part which is unusual aound here. I had requests for Thriller and Smooth Criminal also but they were late in the night I didn't have time to get to them

I played billie jean and abc......

On a funny side note...heres the story for the first MJ song.

This blonde comes up to me, and says, "We really need a Micheal Jackson song"...so I agreed as well. She says she wants to hear a Jackson 5 song..so we found ABC. Enthused she then said...but when the song comes on..please let's have a moment of silence.....I kinda rolled my eyes, and was like.."I'll see what I can figure out."

So I continue playing my other requests, when it comes time for the Jackson 5. I then said.."In light of Micheal Jacksons passing, I have been asked to play something with Micheal, and I was also asked if we could have a moment of silence...**I paused for like no more than one sec**..and I started laughing, and I was like "Well that was fun"....the crowd burst out laughing, and danced along.

Now I find having a moment of silence important on certain things...but during a wedding, and for an artist I never really respected..I THINK NOT!!!!

lol and do we have to play tributes to any artist that dies

sorry but there is so manythats passed, so whats so special about Mj ?

have a nice day ...............................................................................NEXT!

he was MJ and if that meant nothing to you have a nice day......NEXT!!! To me he was a modern pop icon and the Fred Astair of the 90's.

Jon so was Elvis as good as mj, so was........ so to me then why is it like that he is just another entertainer

we all have to die some time...

they were both dramatically huge in the making of music since 1960 til today. Others have died with less worldwide recognition. MJ was one of a rare breed.

I felt like I was doing a MJ tribute last night. I played:
I'll Be There
Man In The Mirror(Thanks Patrick)
ABC
I Want You Back
Thriller
Billie Jean
Blame It On The Boogie
Stop The Love You Save.

young...

I felt kind of sad playing Michael Jackson music last night. He was a very gifted person musically but the other side of him was very bizarre.

I started with my favorite MJ song - I Want You Back -followed by the most requested song - Thriller.

Did one mix last night that looped Billy Jean into some Britney Spears.... ;)
