I already have a Gig at that Club. They will be used for rentals for large Music Productions of 300-500 people. My Scoops are going to be added to the Mix when there are going to be more than 500 people.
Next Summer I plan on doing some of my own Productions in Boston (Hank's Town).
I am already leaving my scoops at the Club when they are not in use. Its a special arrangement with the Club owner. They are out of the way and nobody bothers them.

My Processing/Amp Rack is heavier and I take it in and out of my van by myself. That is why they make wheels. After I buy them I will farther invest in a small truck with hydraulic lift in the back and either wheelchair lift on the side or ramp.

Go with the ramp...no parts to break down. I've gone and helped more than once with a sound crew that had a lift that quit working and we had to manually lift all the equipment.

Plus, with a ramp, if you can get close enough, you can drop it right in the door to the venue, crossing over curbs, and sometimes even a few stairs. Many times I put my ramp right on the edge of a stage and roll straight out of the truck.

When I Use This Sub I use with 2 RCF ART322-A's I run the RCF's in Full Range. You have 4 setting options so you can taylor to what you need I do set the variable low pass filter to 100.

Atleast of my travels I think you are the only Mobile I have heard of using the new CV stuff though I did see the small tops and subs setup here locally at a sound and lighting store. Sounded pretty decent for the small setup. I would love to hear a revue on this unit.

I've never heard the Turbosound but I have heard the others and the CV 18s will run with them if not better so I would expect the 21s to kill them

Yeah, but nature tends to charge back eventually. As with everything, the body loses it's strong and shiny components as time goes by.

Well when that happens I will reconsider. Remember, these things got wheels. If you can't wheel 'em in then its time to quit!
 
I know the wheels as I have the 18's but they can only get you so far ;)

I don't know if I agree with this. My body odor gets stronger and my head gets shinier each year. In about 20 years I will resemble a chrome domed bag of testicles.
 
When I was in the market I had hoped Vega would come out with powered units but they didnt until I bought my Dynas. Im glad that they didnt as they havent marketed any of them much to the DJ world. I would have possibly bought them had I seen or heard them. I later got to see the compact powered Vega system and at their price point they were very nice and though selling to Stanton continued to have that thump I was used to having used Vegas in one of my first systems. Failed marketing on our DJ front has kept them literally invisible and it surprises me considering the name they made over the years from the City Of Industry in Southern California.
 
I'm with you Jon. I have CV DX-9's I use nearly every day in my classroom. Mind you they are home speakers...but they are heavy and have nice tone. Cerwin subs used to be the king of hip hop it seems in the 90's....not sure what Stanton is gonna do from here on out....seems wierd.
