SEO experts- quick question

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
Don't believe a word of the above - sub domains are so last year
 
I've been told that deep links to specific pages can build up a domain.

Rather than linking to just the MAIN page....you are supposed to have internal pages like "..../weddings.htm" or ".../karaoke.htm" (whatever you are trying to pump up for key words).

Just because something is "last year" doesn't mean it don't work!

And, you can still optimize a site designed in 1998, and get it to the top of Google for every type of search---I'm living proof!

countless subdomains.


Subdomains work.......they worked in 1999.......they still work in 2009.

I think you need the automated equipment (heavy duty servers & backups) like We DJ has to make subdomains work.
 
okay Matt yelp and some of the other ideas you have dont work in many areas yet apparently it works for you. Not everyone thinks as highly or are as enamoured with Allie as some either. IF it works for you great but dont try to act like your the one who knows the way. Try it in many markets then you might rub elbows with the big boys.Hows that High Times add working for you?

As for sub domains they are WAY COOL - IF and I repeat IF

You are say Sony - they have so many differing products and are huge SO LISTEN UP MATT NOW a sub domain WILL WORK say, for example, www.televisions.sony.com would lead to televisions by Sony

www.computers.sony.com would lead to computers

If you are a small business it means sweet FA go ask that from the dorks on the SEO chat boards too

YES It's an AUTHORITY SITE and has built credibility over the years

PR = Nothing but trust rank which it was going to be called but the fear of lawsuits stopped that hence the name change
