You might want to reconsider that. I don’t know where Steve or (anybody else) is spending eternity. That’s between them and God. I just know that I will follow just ONE, and that is Jesus, the Son of God. There are a lot of good people who have not found the key to get into heaven, and will not get in. You don’t get in through good deeds. If there’s a place that didn’t accept Steve, it’s not a place I want to go.
I’m all for everyone doing what works best for them. I just believe that being a good person is the right way to be. What happens afterwards I’ll accept. I have no idea what happens after. I also know that no one else knows either. They have their faith. Which is fine. I just believe God wants people to be good more than he wants people kneeling, worshiping and building monuments to him. That’s a human ego thing that looks very similar to the way people in Iraq were kneeling to suddam, because they were scared of him. I’m not scared of where I may go.You might want to reconsider that. I don’t know where Steve or (anybody else) is spending eternity. That’s between them and God. I have been searching in his area (Prospect CT) for an obit notice. So far there has been no notice. No one has posted anything on his page and the pages of his family members are locked down pretty hard.If any one is able to find out his address, or if they are doing a viewing service, perhaps we can all pitch in, and send something to the family? Maybe flowers, or if they don't want flowers, even just a card, or donation to charity of their choosing?

I was going through Steve's FB page. Back in Feb, he posted this:
"So, new phone tonight .. last one was in the Fall of 2012, so 8.5 years (iPhone 6) .. not a bad ROI. Prices don't seem remotely close between what that iPhone cost me in 2012 and the iPhone 12 Pro I just got did. I nearly had a heart attack since I paid for it completely (though I do get a good chunk of it back with their rebates at Costco). Let's see how long this one lasts."
I can't help be think that he would be really pissed about the ROI he got on this purchase. Then again, he would probably quip that it lasted a lifetime.
I can answer all those questions, and would be glad to do that for you... but not in this thread. This thread is all about Steve, and I for one, would prefer to keep the focus on him and what he meant to us.I'm agnostic and ask questions...which always seems to upset the 'righteous' among us.
My firstquestion is WHY is your choice THE choice? There have been over 2000 gods in human existance and wars have been faught, and are faught, over who's god is the right one. 99% of people are the religion of their parents - so luck has more to do with your beliefs than any rational thought or research. Most people spend more time shopping for the right car than the right belief/religion/god.
I doubt a truly good all powerful creator would a)wait for thousands of years to reveal himself and b) would let people kill eachother in his name.
If He is your father, our father, why does he let so many of his children suffer? And he's punished others (eden, babel, the flood, etc).
You treat your kids that way and you'll get locked up, not admired.
IMO our life force is in this existence to learn something, when learned you move on. Stupid people were maybe a mouse or a tree in a previous existence, perhaps after a few trips through human hood they're Einstein or elon musk or a profit. IN between existances there are 'ghosts' or whatever you want to call them. Guardian angles perhaps.
