Mike: Yes, I read the same review.
Until I have personally tested the unit, my opinion is held in reserve. BOSE has never failed to impress however to marketing implications that 6 drivers versus 24, 200 watts versus 500 watts, 1 bass driver versus 2 is going to parallel the MI / MII is stretching my faith to some brand new extremes.
There is a 30 day return guarantee. I'm not accepting any "new clients" until I'm sure what it can and will do. A nightmare? Shipping 20 and having 15 come back because of disappointments or failure to meet expectations. Then the wars start again. I will not sacrifice reputation for $.
Here's hoping to have my hands on a unit next week (if BOSE keeps their promise). If you can't wait, buy them now.
