No .. looked at an eye-fi card a couple of years back, but never picked it up.
 
This sort of product is like any thing else is a bridge product. The reasoning is that newer cameras have wi-fi built in.

This is a stupid question but our Canon 6D has wi-fi and I have no clue what that does.

I know the biggest use is to connect an iPhone/Android and use it as a full-featured remote.


It's supposed to allow uploads to the same devices through the app as well ... and you can hit social media sites throw the Canon Gateway http://www.cig.usa.canon.com/index.html

I recently bought one of these and played around with it some last night. Pretty cool, but I do not like how it breaks my computer's internet connection to transfer to the computer. Would like it better if it would wireless-ly tether to the computer's wifi connection and share to it that way.
