PrimeCuts August 2010 kicks butt!

Another advantage to the Prime Cuts weekly service: You'll have it when you need it.

Make that two advantages: If you offer dance instruction, you will need the new releases before they make the Top 10.

Most DJ companies serve more than wedding clients. Many a weekend we've played for a school dance on Friday and a wedding on Saturday. Newer releases are a must for youth-oriented engagements. If it's been playing on radio for a week, there is a very good chance it will be requested at a youth dance.

Over the years we've been asked for "that new (insert artist here) song" more times than I can recall. They hadn't yet shipped on any monthly service.

A song isn't fluff or filler if it gets requested at a show. :)

I have been super lucky so far!

Most of my clients base their findings on what is hot on radio...and as many of you know...you can sometimes find those songs readily on itunes and such is where I do fine.

But then again..we do live way up 'nort' and us country folk don't like all that "rap crap."

That is a great point! So many people complain about 'fluff' or 'filler' on any music service. I can't speak for other DJ music services, but I can tell you we never run a song just for the sake of filling space.

I'd like to add that I am a subscriber to the Prime Cuts Weekly series, and LOVE it! No more sitting making sure your music is up to date for hours before teen events... I just download the latest top charts from prime cuts, and have confidence that I'll be set for my events! I HIGHLY recommend!
