An update.
Diana's mom passed away peacefully this morning at approximately 9 am. The family has been together all day and has not been a very sad time as far as tears go. All have been in good spirits as they know her suffering is over. I just got home from pizza and beer at mom's house with everyone and shared with them all of the thoughts and prayers sent in from all of our DJ family here online.
It was very much appreciated by all.
Funeral is Saturday and I will have to cancel my first gig in over 30 years.
She passed while I was at a gig this morning so I finished up and hurried back. Friday night's gig is Bar trivia and we don't have anyone to cover and I don't have time to throw something together. They'll just have to get over it. (As they basically broke the contract during the final four and called at the last minute and said "don't show up", for 2 Fridays. Contract said we require 2 weeks notice. but that's neither here nor there)
Thanks again and I will be printing out all the responses and sharing any new ones with the rest of the family.
