Hey all,

I finally got my rack finished up but for some reason when i turn on my racklight built into my power conditoner the right channel of my amp (which is plugged into the conditoner) clips and loses power? I have to unplug it and turn it up again for it to work right.

any advice or ovious mess ups

thanks!

Bens class on such issues explained alot of the problems some of the cheaper units can present. I would say you were better off with a different source than this item. I would take it to L&M and ask for another one it could just be faulty. Some of those cheap brands are more worthless than a regular non protected powerbar.

Don't plug the amp to the conditioner.

Mason,
I run the my CD decks, HC4500, mixers and processing through the conditioners. And the amps always go straight to the plug on the power distro. The only hum I've ever had problems was created by my HP laptop power supply so I use a ground lift just for that connection. My Sony Vaio laptop has a two pronged power supply and no hum through it.

Once again the gang at ODJT saves my career!

Thanks alot Jon and Jacob

No more amp in the powerconditioner...also no ground loop!!!

:D

Hate to do this

False Alarm...

The light still causes the right channel to die almost completly out...and it wont come back to full anyome :O its not the speaker either I switched em back and fourth

I dont understand this??? I unplugged everything from the conditoner and ran it through a extension cord...and now they both work again ???

im confused :S

Or said power conditioner is bad.

I said it in the beginning but Im not the expert. Take it to L&M and ask for another one. For ish and giggles what brand is it and model number. Did you google the item and add power issues or problems
