It's a designer preference that's all I can say. I did go in and make a couple of adjustments to make it a bit cleaner. Thanks for your suggestions about the backgrounds on the logo and content section of the home page.

Don't take this as a "he's not willing to budge type thing". I just don't feel that it's a design flaw. If I were working on someone else's site, it would be a different story.

knardini, great looking site, question have you played around with a black to grey gradient going from top to bottom and see how that looks, while keeping that middle table white or off white? You used a gradient on the top buttons... I dont know maybe it's personal preference, but still it is a kickin' site, props to ya.
 
Thanks bounce. I actually had a friend build it for me and he did all the design work for really cheap, so I was happy with whatever he presented. I'm just glad to have a decent web presence to send my clients to. Thanks for suggestions.
