Pic From My Kitchen Window - Right Now

I was on my home when I got the call from my wife that the water heater finally went out...it's been making some girgling noises for awhile. To much hard water and sediment at the bottom of the tank. I get there to check it out and then she says something about not having much water pressure either. I knew immediately what the problem was. Went to the back of the house and I could hear the water in the wall. Ugh!!

I bet I've told her a hundred times and my wife reminded her this past weekend. When it gets below freezing, turn the drip on. She's always got some excuse for not doing it. Well, now she has to walk all the way to the front of the house to take a piss/crap.

::I know I'm feeling evil tonight!::

I can't see out my kitchen window, the wind has been plastering the snow to the windows all day. It doesn't really matter because the rest of the world out back is white anyway.
This is my kids this morning.

The nice sub zero weather had the truck all gelled up this morning,
So i had to lay in the snow bank and remove the fuel filter about 20 times, and had to go get a big heater to warm up the fuel tanks so the P.O.S. would run!!!:sqmad::sqmad::sqmad:

My run that should have been completed by Noon, took till 6:30p.m.

I haven't seen that much snow since I lived in the hill country of Virginny. I don't want to ever see that much again. Shirl's of the same mind... she grew up in Western PA. She's seen enough snow and blizzards to last a lifetime, thanks very much. :)

Yeah it gets cold in DE. But we're close enough to the ocean that snow doesn't last long around here ~ when we get it at all. It's extremely rare when it gets cold enough to freeze the plumbing.

Now his missus is gonna yell at me. Wait for it. ;)

I cannot match those snow and ice photos but here is a picture from my rear deck a couple of days ago.

Seeing all these pics make me want to post one myself. This is the view out our front offic door this morning... it's a little dark but it is snowing...again... another 3-6 inches for today  BUT if I didn't love it I would have not moved home LOL

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

I'm not a huge fan of the snow either but we sure do get a lot of it around here. It's only December so we'll see how much we have by march, we are supposed to get a bit of a thaw this week though.
