Dont know if this happend only too me but i have a feeling that people just dont know anymore which music is for Bars which for home listening etc..:sqerr:

Last weekend i had a request for the(you dont belive this)Godfathers theme!:sqerr:

Are people realy so confused in this overflow of music styles or what?:sqconfused:

I realy dont understand that anymore because this was not the only case of some request which i can not play in Bar.If i play this, Bar owner will kick me and she out.

Do you have the same or simular problems?

theres a wicked techno mix out there now overseas that may be what they were looking for...

I had a request for Pink Floyd, Breathe - On the Run from Dark Side of the Moon album at a College Pledge Bash last year. Now I love the album, but not at a dance, maybe a little bit of Money from the same album, during a rock set but not Breathe

Ya never know what will turn the house into the wildest event ever until you try. I like to sneak questionables in before or after my slow set. Its a natural transition and in a bar setting you can always turn the dancefloor for Bar finacial gain. these songs are greatly accepted for that purpose. The worst that can happen, you mix right out of it immediately. Sometimes venturing into the far unknown can provide a treat you never expected. Wedding events likely would allow for less leeway.

Very true. :) I've had people request songs that I thought would be a complete dud but turned out to be great...Only probably I had is I couldn't think of a good enough track to follow up with.
