I thought we were talking paid advertising? If so algorithms are irrelevant you would be targeting an audience. Organically is much harder

I agree Insta and TikTok would be better choices but I am still stuck with the old way of any flat surface. If I had $100 to spend I would go with Instagram likely to have a better chance on ROI. If I had $1000 I would devote the majority to Insta and TikTok but give a little to Snapchat and build Facebook organically. The more places you are seen the better
To book 100 events from Instagram your closing response need only be 6 x 10(-7) = 0.0000006
Sounds fantastic, doesn't it? Well, not really because the qualification rate is 4 x 10(-18)

The first number is real, the second one I made up. The number that's missing is the ratio of time and attention spent phishing on your phone or other devices rather than living a real life.

None of this data accounts for the age of the DJ doing the phishing. If I'm booked for a wedding reception with a 24-year-old bride, it's because I've already done 2 or 3 weddings for her older siblings. (Hell, I probably did her parent's wedding.)

I've literally done all-night-graduation parties for kids - whose parents all-night parties I had also done 20 - 25 years earlier. I donlt really neeed instagram to reach young brides if I already know her mom. :)

We agree on this Bob but you and I are in a position many aren't. Longevity creates popularity.

I don't need Instagram or any of the others but if I was starting out damn right I'd be all over them
