What kind of range / distance have you used this so far?

At max transmit power, I've used the Audio2000'S in rooms as long as 50 feet with no drop outs. I can make it drop out if I hide both transmitter and receiver behind amps or powered speakers, but it just goes quiet, no static. The sound quality is a little compressed, but I don't hear it pump or overreact to bass. It's not as quiet as a Shure wireless mic, more like this Sony UHF transmitter, which I prefer for driving a satelite subwoofer:
