New mixer thoughts

I had a PV10 for a couple of weeks, it only had one USB input and that was controlled by the master volume only. I would have liked to be able to assign the USB to an individual channel. Other than that it was a solid mixer, just not what I was looking for.

I work with PV8 now for 2 years and i have no problems with it.Maybe one thing is not so good and that is power suply cable.
Sound is werry good(better as at some better mixers),it is small, lightweight and loocks happy with all colours on it.
I can only recomend.

Mackie ProFx Series Mixers

You may want to look at the Mackie ProFX8 or 12. Has XLR outputs and one USB input for a laptop etc. The only downside is that no EQ on the USB input but still a solid mixer.

I bought an 8 channel, Alesis MultiMix 8, a few days ago.

It has a USB input, and built-in effects for vocals.

I'm really considering bringing it back to GC. It sounds tinny, and the bass response on my system is lacking now. The only thing that has changed is the mixer....BTW, I was using a 4 channel B-Ringr Xenyx 802, And i like that one better than the Alesis.....

Update...
The lacking bass response was MY fault....Had the mixer set up pretty good tonight...Might just keep it after all
