New from ERG - What you all think?

To many ads? Support ODJT and see no ads!
It's a cool idea I completely agree with it. I rather people have to pay something for their music than nothing at all.

I have never used it but there was big discussion at our last ADJA meeting about the $9.99 monthly service provided by Virtual DJ.
 
As it has been mentioned I would like to know if the DJ programs have been licensed legally or you're supposed to provide ERG with the key to your software. There are too many ands, ifs or buts in this and as Rick mentioned some heavy legal negotiations might be in the future. I don't have to worry about subscriptions however, I do know how much a real library costs and there's a lot of effort done by people over the years to have said collections.

Even with the disc based subscriptions, Amazon, iTunes, etc. you're still paying for a disc or single track. I don't, it's seems to be way too shady.
 
...is glad to have upgraded to PC weekly. Thanks Jim! I know you guys offer a superb product.

I had considered using ERG at one time but now I know I'm staying away from ERG. I may still be somewhat new to the forums, but when a well known member such as Rick says to be forewarned. I'm taking that advice.
