After a near fatal incident this weekend with my truss bashing my cd player and causing what i expected to be fatal damage, I ran out and bought another identical CD player and hooked it up in my backup rack, which now nearly mirrors my original rack system. I'm considering taking the 3rd CD player I have, grabbing an inexpensive mixer, probably an american audio, and an SKB and putting together a 3rd system soon as well. I'm also looking hard into a nice rane mixer to go in my main rack by the end of the year as well as some kind of hard drive controller, either a denon or possibly one of the new pioneers if the ratings come up.

They're exactly the same as the velocity but without the MP3 capability, which is fine by me. I haven't been able to break a set yet even after smashing a truss into it. The original set still works fine after 4 years on the road.
