Hey guys, you have been so helpful that I ran across something the other night at the bar with another computer, and was hoping maybe you guys could help me since you guys know so much more then I do....

Ok the other night at the club the main dj got VDJ 5 and installed it to his computer. Last night during his set I noticed that everytime he faded back and fourth, and clicked thew the music, he kept getting a popping nosie. More and more he moved the things it kept popping?

Why is that, and what can we do to fix it? Is it the computer clipping and peeking out or what? I mean it shouldn't since it's an Intel Duo 2 Core with 3 gig ram and about 500hd. Can someone help?

I'm confused, so it only did it on his set and not yours on the same system you were both using?

Typically speaking, internal sound cards just do not have enough "umph" to get the job done. I still bring my ASIO Soundcard to events even though I could use mini's to RCA's to make it all work.

if it is windows... what do you do to fix. I mean my Laptop has all kinds of software on it and it's not a gig-laptop... Plan on getting one soon. But his is a Gig Only PC... We are running of the same Audio amps and mixers but only his is popping.... What can I do to smooth his PC out?

Up Date: Ok so the dude came to my house with the Laptop. I started it up and gave it time to open up and wake up. So then I open VDJ and then gave it some time as I picked some songs on his computer... So I hit play and it was fine... then I clicked for the second song it studder and popped. Then I faded over to deck B and then the whole time I faded over it studdered and popped. As I pulled up the effects and samples... it also popped and studdered a bit. I am confused people. Remember the laptop is not hooked to a PA or mixer or anything. The is happenin thew the PC speakers on the laptop. So is it the soundcard?

ok everyone... I FIXED THE ISSUE!!!

Here was the issue.. Well since old boy installed the software he played with the config button. He had his performance set up at High Quality witch for his PC it didn't help none. After I set it back down to 512 it smoothed out and now we are in business now. Thankfully I fixed his crap so he don't have to brow mine when I am not working sets at the bar....lol
