Just thought I'd make mention, this week I changed up my table setup. I bought a 6-space, shallow rack and perm-mounted my power regulator, wireless receiver and compressor, along with my myDMXGo dongle and Donner transmitter (plugged straight into the dongle, no jumper cable). The rack was sitting on the floor, about 3-4 feet from the computer that was connecting to it. For perhaps the first time, I didn't have a single issue with the dongle losing connection. Now it could well be that I was outside, with no competing signals going on but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Well last night myDMX Go dealt me misery, most of the night. For the first half, I kept noticing that it would lose connection after about a minute. I go into the device menu, re-select the interface, and it would work again for another minute. That one turned out to be an un-plugged (running on battery) Kindle Fire. For about an hour after that, the device would stick, but sometimes the dongle would just go away from the menu. This forced several complete reboots. There were several times it wouldn't find the dongle after a reboot. It FINALLY decided it would just work the rest of the night went smoothly.

I still love the user interface but bottom line, I'm on the verge of ditching this thing. I need gear that works and doesn't cause me distraction all night.

Did you change the default WiFi channel? Last event went 5 hours with no issues .. iPad, WiFi to MdG, wireless to lights. No hiccups.

mine went from 4:30 to 11pm last night....zero issues....sorry again to hear yours is causing misery ...

Not since the last gig. I'm going to have to get a USB extension since I've mounted the dongle inside the road case on the floor. Somebody on my FB group post said there was a way to hardwire this config. I really want to try this before giving up on it.

Are you using an iPad? Seems many of the ones that have issues are using cheap Android tablets.
