The reason I was thinking black carpet is that black has a look of quality to me. It looks more distinguished and expensive. It has a completely different visual effect. Like a black tuxedo vs. a gray tuxedo. It's more formal. Based on your comment I may go with a textured black paint or some other type of coating rather than carpet. Thanks

I ask those who have pictures such as the awesome ones shared above please post them in the gallery and possibly find the thread which shares your setup. I cant recall the exact link or title but it would look good in one exclusive thread though Im not complaining about them being shared here. We have plenty of room.
Keep em coming.

Keith now you have me intrigued to see your current primary setup.
Thanks

I'm all for the change from Grey to black also. You had purchased very nice looking speakers and your Grey box while very nice and all, looks very 80's

This looks Very 80's ?? :sqconfused:

the only thing fellows is that the gray-black carpet is sooo much easier to match seems then the black Ive carpeted a few things

Alan,

Those Bose would have looked really nice if it weren't for those hideous looking flowers on either side.:sqwink: I do hope that wasn't your idea? If it was then disregard anything I've said.

Nope, not my idea. I had no Say-so, I guess its something she planned with the wedding coordinator. Funny how they were not there as guests started arriving.... I left the area for a moment to have a word with the coordinator, when I came back, there they were. :sqconfused:

The gray looks fine especially in that low lighting and you did a very high quality job of building the cart, it looks very professional, it's just that black to me has a more elegant and rich look. It's personal preference.

I don't think anyone was saying the gray looks bad, it's like looking at two shades of beige and deciding which one you like better. They both look good, but one person may prefer the lighter tone and someone else may prefer the darker tone. I think we look at all of this stuff in a different and more critical way than most of the guests do anyways IMO. Many of them may not pay much attention to what your cart or table looks like especially if you are off to the side and not the center of attention.

I'm just glad it ain't me that's gotta load that big beast of a case. It's got hernia surgery written on it.
