I thought I wanted Bose L1 compact but I’ve talked to another DJ who recommended a MAUI Five Go. Comments? Thanks.

It looked and sounded nice at the DJ Expo last year .. and it's battery powered if that might help in a remote setting.

I like the idea of being off the grid. When you say “nice” is it ok or good? Lol

Fine for comedy shows. Not so much for Djing.

Tough to judge sound on the show floor, but I thought it sounded better than OK. Not a whole lot of low end (it's only an 8" sub)

Another option would be the Bose S1 Pro .. they also sounded good and are battery powered.

Bose S1 is all I use for ceremonies now. I love it!

I also use it for cocktail hours.
