MSE is a great anti-virus program for PC's. If the OP gets a PC, get that to protect your computer.

Very reliable :)

I have an Acer tower and a lappy. The lappy has been running for almost 2 years straight, and is my main development machine. It sits closed on my desk, with an external monitor, keyboard and mouse.
 
its really what EVER you want to spend the money on these days..........
