Ronnie Milsap

Hey, I love Ronnie Milsap music! I was a country jock in the early/mid 80's to help pay for school. The man can SING.

You know you're old if you remember how to que a single or album on a turntable. :sqwink:

I grew up in the 60s and 70s in the suburbs and my folks listened to symphonic music and opera etc. I never heard country music at home or on the radio. My only early exposure to country music was Hee Haw and if I saw The Grand Old Opry on TV. I didn't start listening to country music or gain an appreciation for it until I was in my early 30s, starting around 1992-1993 and I'm discovering lots of the old country just in the past year or two. I just started singing A White Sport Coat And A Pink Carnation. Great song and the older crowds that I perform for love that song. He stopped Loving Her Today is popular too. I sing a lot of 80s and 90s country. Travis Tritt, Brooks and Dunn, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Sammy Kershaw and a few more.

Ronnie Milsap- Greatest Hits I believe. Mine had a cream colored album cover. All my vinyl is in storage and not here with me right now so Im playing by memory.

Ronnie McDowell also country during the same time, did a great rendition of Unchained Melody and sounded a bit like Elvis.
