Looking for suggestions for Spanish music please.

I may have a couple of up coming gigs where there may be request for some Spanish music. One is this Saturday and next Saturday. Just want to be prepared. What's hot right now in terms of Spanish music? I'm asking because it's not my expertise and there may be some who attend either one of these events wanting to hear some Spanish music. Thanks.

These are events where there may be some Spanish people attending and wanting music for them to enjoy. So I play some Spanish music, today's hip-hop and r and b along with house music. I also forgot to mention maybe reggae as well.. it depends on the request I get.

And what we've said is there is like 15 DIFFERENT genres of Latin (not Spanish) music .. and they are different .. sort of like punk rock vs heavy metal vs acoustic rock. If they dance, it will be Salsa or Reggaeton or Cumbia or a host of others.

At minimum, need to know what type of Latin music they like or even what country they are from.

If this is neither a culture or genre that you are familiar with, don't waste your time on a pre-gig crash course or song suggestions.
You'll likely miss the mark anyway. Just offer to play something from their mobile or the web. It's just the age we live in now.

Si esto no es una cultura o género que usted está familiarizado con, no pierda su tiempo en un curso de pre-concierto intensivo o sugerencias de la canción. Es probable que se pierda la marca de todos modos. Sólo ofrecer a jugar algo desde su móvil o la web. Es la edad en que vivimos ahora.

Why did you wait until one day before to begin researching what music you are going to play? Like so many people have said, it totally depends on the culture of the requester and where they are from. You might as well stick to Ricky Martin, Selena Gomez, and others b/c its gonna be a crap shoot.

Been working on May wedding & reception music. Like no later than four weeks out!
