I just engineered a projector mount using this:

The actual unit I picked up was a Manfroto and ran about $35 at the local camera shop. I then got a small piece of aluminum from Lowes and drilled holes to fit the mounting screws on the projector. Drill holes to perm-mount the quick-release plate from the head above, then mount that onto a small ADJ stand. I now have a projector that will go up to about 9 ft and swivels and it was less than $50 (not including the stand). Since the plate is perm-mounted to the projector, it's very quick/easy to just pop and lock it in place.

So Dobby10 what exactly are you using? I admit not the most mechanically inclined. The Super Clamps plus a regular ceiling mounting bracket plus a pole extension to go from the super clamps to the projector bracket?
So I am using 2 super clamps, along with this mounting bracket that has a built in extension pole: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-T...ltDomain_0&hash=item58937cb6bb#ht_2612wt_1095
I use this same setup very frequently, not much for monograms, but I attach the projector to an old mic stand using the same clamps, and then project onto a screen for music videos, slideshow, etc.
