Howdy all,

I know, I know what you are thinking ,,,,,,, who is this wacko and why is he back?

Well to be honest I do feel a little guilty about the favor I am going to ask being that I haven't been around much
but here goes....
I've been nominated for the Mobile Entertainers Expo Hall of Fame 2024. I would appreciate a vote.
There are some great names on this list so my chances are very small, but as they say "It is an honor to be nominated"..

There's a few halls of fame he should be in this isn't one of them ;)

I see Sid is there too. He had a strong board for a long time but Dan did it better let's get him nominated next year

I recognize a few names on that list. Most of those potential HOFs, I've never heard of and I've been in this business for more than 30 years. Amazing!

What I mean is that I'm amazed how little I know about the potential HOFs in my line of work. I need to do some research.

Because most on the list are "leaders" in the industry and mean nothing to most of us that actually DJ gigs...Chuck is the exception there

Yeah as I said, I did feel a little guilty asking and not being around here much,,,, and yes there are some amazing names on the list which is why I honestly feel I have a very small chance, but I still have a chance.

This is the second year for this HOF and to be honest there is some tweaking they need to do. Having that many names is kinda silly. They should have a committee that takes recommendations and then weeds it down to maybe 10 or so. But it is what it is.

Sorry about not putting my last name on the post,,,, DORK! lol,,,, I was nominated because of what I had done in the past and almost nobody, or new DJs know anything about me, but I have bought my tickets for the expo and I am ready with my wife, just in case.... thank you all who have voted!

I think we should have a list of members who have either passed on or for some reason, are no longer present on these boards nearly as much as they used to.

I'll start....Chuck, Rockit Ricky, Crazy Chris and one other guy who used to work in Oklahoma I think....but who went through divorce...

Should we include DJ's whose CAREERS are "no longer with us"???
