The first production room I worked in had a similar board with the rotary front facing dials.

Before we moved down stairs there was one almost identical in the news booth at our stations
 
My college radio station in 1980 at Dowling College. I don’t remember what type of board it was, but I remember the Technics turntables and cart machines. Lots of fun even through it was a small radio station. The next year I got the station up to about 16 people, My Secret was turning the radio stations daytime meetings into wine & cheese parties. Actually right after meeting we started the wine but we had the spread out beforehand. The drinking age was 18 and wine was allowed even during the day. Parties at night you could have a full bar plus beer & wine as long as you had food Served.
