If the audience being able to see isn't critical, should I use the TV for the singer, and keep the laptop at my rig? I can certainly set it up that way too. But since I'm using a totem I thought it would need to be off to the side anyway so it doesn't block sight lines.
This is how I do it, as you'll be adding songs and singers to the que while people are singing.

I don't change mic screens - I spray them with 80% isopropyl which kills anything on it, and evaporates very quickly. Spraying them is also more visually comforting to germaphobes than changing wind screens. It's also far more sanitary than constantly handling things you presume are infected, and more economical than buying hundreds of wind screens.
Before I shut down in 2010 I was doing a lot of karaoke. I did then exactly what Proformance says. This is wise advice whether there is a pandemic or not.

Did you do the wedding yet and if you did please let us know how it went?
I'm doing a different wedding tomorrow. The one this thread about is on June 6th. But DC lifted its mandate, we don't have to do karaoke anymore, so I'm back to regularly scheduled programming.

I'd do that, and then use a projector on a screen for the audience.

Or borrow a tv from your home for the night. I have too many now...LOL.
I picked up a 20" or so smart tv for $125 to use as a portable on the porch or in the kitchen, etc.
it would work for the singer.
