Alto TS210 weigh 22.0 lbs and are MAP at $249. Lightest 10 inch speakers on the market.

If you ask me, at 3x to 4x the price, FBT should be able to produce a light weight speaker at least as light weight as Alto...especially now that we are approaching 2018.

I carried my Alto TS212 28.5 lb speakers (3 of them) up and down 2 flights of stairs last night along with everything else.

...My body is still strained from that by the way, BUT I love that I can carry 2 12s up and down stairs when I want to load in/out quickly.
Yea but they’re still Alto’s who wants to be seen in public with them lol

Me... I guess.[emoji1] I've had the money set aside for over a year now to buy a pair of EVOX 8's, but the money still sits in the bank. My Alto's are still doing GREAT, and I just can't see retiring them. They set up quick and easy, and I know exactly how to set all the gains for every situation. I might never buy those RCF's.[emoji1]

Yikes Ricky...where the heck were you? Sounds like a venue that requires a few extra bucks for that.

Outdoor deck of a Country Club down in Chevy Chase overlooking a Skating Rink. Yes, it was an outside gig that was contracted through the agency. The agency did not know I was going to be set up outside. When I called to confirm everything with the venue contact, she mentioned which building I was loading into, but did not mention I would be outside either. Coldest gig I have ever done as it went down to 32 degrees Friday night. About 250 people were there...Had about 130 kids skating on the ice. Just playing music the whole time.

If it were my own direct booking, I would not have set up outside as my own agreement states that outside set ups must have complete overhead protection provided, and temps must be between 55 degrees and 95 degrees out, BUT since this was an agency booking, I didn't have a choice in demanding being set up inside. ...I walked inside the club every 30 to 40 minutes or so to warm up for a few minutes. The venue manager felt bad, and gave me hand warmers, and made sure I had hot chocolate. She said in previous years it was usually around 50 to 55 degrees outside at night time, not 32. My feet were frozen at the end of the night, and all my extension cords were stiff from being nearly frozen. Kids had a good time though. I packed up as quick as I could to get loaded out, and in my car driving home.

They did have a heater next to me, but it did NOTHING for me. The gig went well outside of freezing. I had them doing the Macarena, and Cha Cha Slide out on the ice. They didn't really bother with cupid shuffle. Lots of requests for newer music from the teens as well. Here is a pic I took earlier in the night.

Thanks for sharing. My Friday night was at The Blast home opener in their new Towson SECU Arena venue in our front row seats...no heaters needed...:)
