its an unproven science ( so many varied opinions in the professional field) in my opinion on the weight storage thing. What happens when you get the stomach staple your system still should go into starvation mode regardless the size of the stomach but many have lost incredible amounts of weight with this process. they can not eat 500 calories. However if tested it will stretch again which happened to Randy Jackson and a few other spotlight cases. I would worry about restretching half or less the lining you once had. sort of like a balloon that gets too much air in it.

I only gain weight when I stop drinking beer -- seriously. I drink beer all day (slowly), and it's loaded with calories and carbs -- I never get hungry. I eat twice a day, because I have to.

A few times a year, I stop drinking beer, and switch to mixed drinks or no alcohol, just water -- then I gain weight. I eat constantly, because my body is craving the carbs and calories.

Drink beer all day -- It keeps you thin, and you can dance better :sqcool:

Update!!

Ok, so now I'm on day 16 and I've lost 16 pounds. From 203 to 187!!!

Damn Dennis -- 319 -- that's a lot of weight for your legs and organs to be carrying! :sqerr:

BTW, I don't think diabetes makes you gain weight -- I think it's the other way around -- bad living, and gaining weight, gives you diabetes ;)

5'8", 145 pounds -- same as I was 10, 20, 30 and 40 years ago. Drink more beer... :sqcool:

Rick from what I was told I could have Diabeties for years without knowing
it wasnt till I colapsed in October 2009 that the doc did a full medical workout and found more than just diabeties and high cholestrol wrong with me...

sleep apnia, constant pain (I have had for years anyway) but getting worse in my arms and legs

I hardly went to the doctors at all
- now its like every couple of days I have one appointment from some doc to another to help me out

I basicly worked myself into the ground
