I used the bar stool type thing many times, because as you mentioned, it appears as if you're standing.

I much prefer to sit on a high stool though, unless on the mic -- then I stand, since I'm usually using the stereotypical Italian gestures when I talk (I speak more with my body movements, then with my mouth)

I also told them that from time to time I would rest my back by sitting on the stool while I mixed music. I asked them if they objected, fully intending to pass them by if they did. That would be a very intelligent method of handling that issue but it was that you actually gave it thought and considered your client, at least back when you had em :triwink:, that differentiates your actions from the debated actions. It wasn't a wholly selfish decision based on nothing more than ignorance and self serving attitudes.

P.S. I don't read that leaning back on a bar stool or sit-stand device is the type of "sitting" being defended in these discussions.
