I was debating on making this thread. My mother's birthday is this Wendsday November 10th and on Thursday I'm doing a memorial to honor my mother. She died on June 16th. She was 87. So I don't know how I'm going to feel tomorrow. Also this morning I got a doctors appointment at 8AM. Getting stuff done to set me up for my Cancer treatments. Last Monday I paid the Cancer Center $735 for their services so I don't have to stress over that bill. Just got to keep gas in the van to get to my appointments.
So I talked this lady I know to let me do this memorial this Thursday at this senior center she runs on Monday, Thursday and Friday. I've played for them before. It will be during the day. Just doing this also to try to keep my spirits up. I know the first song I'm going to play. The Jacksons Enjoy Yourself and later on James Brown Funky Good Time. I got 2 songs I must play because they were 2 favorites of my mother. Follow Me and Show Me Love. I plan to use the new facade I bought for the first time and I plan on taking pictures and getting a picture of me behind the setup. I got 2 DJ friends who might show up and the semi ex said she was going to be there. Her birthday is this Friday. So my aim is to have a good time doing what I love, honor my mother and just forget for a while about the issues I have to deal with concerning the Cancer treatments I have to go through. My partner will be there but I will be the only one playing the music that day. I will be there for a few hours. Hope all is well with the members on here and have a nice day.
