Actually, it looks like April 21st is the cut off date.
 
Superb link, hand't seen that before, just tested and a-ok, there will be lots of people i'm sure that will struggle to pass this, but i don't think it will make that much difference to search results, especially if people are actively seeking you out.

Thanks for the tip Steve. The few of my sites I tested are "Awesome" according to Google. I feel special now. :D

That being said I'm getting a little tired of Google thinking they own the internet and everyone who owns a site has to bow to their rules or risk winding up buried in search results.

As a subscriber to Google's Webmaster Tools I get near constant suggestions via email of how I can make my site better in the eyes of Google. Basically it's ways to make the sites easier for Google's spiders to crawl. I'm not interested in investing the time to do all that. The sites are nothing exotic their spiders should be able to crawl them just fine. For one of my sites, I get an email on a regular basis that practically begs me to relax some of my robots.txt restrictions. No, I don't want you crawling that area of the site. That's why the restriction is there. Duh!

I keep getting "Failed to fetch the requested URL." Not sure what that means guess I'll have to try after
