If it moves to wherever you need light, you only need one, right?
It's like a dude that only has one lightbulb taking it from room to room.
That's like showing up with one speaker. Where do you place it? Just dead center in front of your DJ setup?
When I play for the seniors I only use one speaker. No need for 2 because 2 would be overkill for them.
That would be overkill!
I have always ran mono even on live sound reinforcement shows.

I use one wire that goes in back of the controller and one end to the speaker. That's it.
