This week has had some crazy weather. The ice storm in Dallas caused power outages everywhere and now record cold will hitting the northeast. I hope everyone is holding up. Anyone have any events canceled?

I was in western Florida this week for a big meeting and was to fly home to CA via Dallas. All Dallas flights were canceled for two straight days. Luckily I knew someone driving to New Orleans (4 hours away) and I was able to get a direct flight from there to LAX on another airline. Twenty of my colleagues were scheduled on the same Dallas flight and most were not as lucky as me. I've got to say that the AmEx travel team did a great job. Despite all the chaos I got through to real people right away. I'm glad I was dealing with them and not the airlines directly.

Everything’s ok in NY but cold & windy. One day warm, next day cold. But so far really no snow accumulations in my and we are into February. Buffalo and up there a whole different story. Hopefully in Texas they are working to spend money to winterize their power grid or in will keep on going down In winter weather.

I was out today doing a "Wireless Microphone Shootout" in 32 degrees F WINDY weather at a big park! I am in the process of uploading the video to youtube of the results. It was too cold for doing this today, but it will be a while before I have another day off with time to spend to do this.

It is dropping down to like 20 degrees F tonight and windy. My next Electric Bill is going to be as high as Snoop Dogg!

It's 2° F at 5:30pm Friday, February 3rd, and heading for an expected low of -14° F by midnight; wind chill factors will push the temperature further down to be at or near -35° F.

Sunday, we go back up to what will seem like a balmy 42° F.

Stay safe everyone.
