Most know that I am a retired paramedic. I went from a job that sees nothing but the worst life can throw cat you- to a job that is responsible for celebrating the good in life, partying, and having fun.

Positive * Positive * Positive
Let's see what I can write that's positive?????
Hmmm........................

I am a Full Time DJ
Can't say that I get bored

Playing great music
And Partying for sure

The clients pay me lots of cash
To play 4 hours , then I dash

I don't play for fun
I play for the buck

So I can go to Hawaai
And see my friend Chuck!

Mahalo!

We bring good things to life!

I positively can't stand people who are positive :)

Seriously though, every day I roll out of bed, can still walk, talk and see is a good day for me!

trouble is Patrick you are up against the wall with your bed
and when you roll over you hit your head on the cage that locks you in at night :)

Great thread. I'm great at what I do as a DJ. Its what I believe God gave me the talent to be a DJ. I just had to work hard coming back to be good at it. It's what I love to do most times. It really feels good when an event goes well and you see people had a really good time because of what I did.

Interesting thread... from 2009. Pretty much the same as “The Positive Thread” @Jeff Romard started last Thursday, except a lot of the guys who posted in this one are no longer here... and I mean NO LONGER HERE! Not sure if that’s a negative or positive. I guess it’s all in how you look at it.

I did not join this board until 2014, so I didn’t know some of those guys. It seemed like it was a pretty cool group.

Rick passed on in a car accident shortly before you joined. He was a mainstay here at ODJT

I've always said that I do this mainly for the ego boost.
Sure, the money is great, but not having to make a living off it
keeps it the FUN in it.

My daytime job keeps a roof over our heads. Taking photos and playing music is what I love. Not everybody can look forward to their second job with a smile on their face. Great post, Chuck!
