Hiding your phone number

Hiding our phone number sends the clear message that customer service is a low priority.
Don't do it.

Hiding our phone number is the ultimate expression of someone who doesn't return phone calls, or is frequently ghosting people.

Let me say I was resistant to texting. I didn't get why people wouldn't just call? I had to get out of my old mind set and understand unless it was absolutely necessary some wouldn't call. They just texted. What I say is it's best have multiple ways for people to be able to contact you. Long ago there was no email, cellphone, texting, no internet and so on.

Different people like to use different ways to contact someone. At one time there was no way you could email a contract to someone. You either had to hand deliver the contract or mail it. Now in today's world it's about adjusting to the times. I have a cellphone that you can call or text me. I have an email address you can reach me. I used to have an old email address I believe was AOL. I'm not sure but it was something like that. Last I know AOL doesn't exist anymore.

It is still there. In fact, I used it just last week. Several of my earliest online accounts had my AOL address as my primary email. Every so often, I come across another one that needs to be updated. Last week it was for a hotel affinity program. I also use AOL as my backup email for accounts that request it, except for my alma mater, They send too much spam for me to give them my real primary address.

Even though I left Denver, Colorado eight years ago, I still have and use my Comcast email account as I've had it for over 20 years and have so many things tied to it.

Comcast is now switching their email service over to AOL.

I've been putting off doing the move as I'm not sure what will change.

I'm guessing soon they'll force the move.

Here in Yuma, Arizona we have Spectrum cable and internet, and I do have an email account there, but don't use it for anything...yet.
