You laugh, but it's one of the best coating for speakers used on a stage (especially as floor monitors). Maybe not so pretty, but the carpet makes it easy to slide and handles road wear better than a lot of painted cabinets.
 
haven't used a tripod in years.

If someone wants to cover their tripods, go for it. But if your set up looks neat and has good presentation, I doubt anyone is going to take off any points because your tripods are naked.
 
I am thinking about marketing a new rat fur scrim complete with inserts for vines.Any takers?:triwink:
