Great Pair Of Tops

If you are running a True 2 Way System/Bi Amp (2 Way Crossover & 2 Amps, one for Mids & Highs and one for Bass) (The Bose Controller/Controller is the better option) here is a damn good buy. The Dispersion pattern is great plus the look is sexy. Different to the customary boxy look. Another plus is that the cover for each has the handle on top when snapped on so you can hand carry the two speakers together, one in each hand. These are the older versions like what I have: The newer ones (Mostly a design change) sells for about $1,500.00

I am kinda considering getting another pair in the event I need more firepower for Mids & Highs. They can be coupled one on top each other with a bracket to form an array like this:

The new ones do not have the protruding Tubes but the semi circular shape does blend in better than the Boxy Cabinets.

Something about the Bose patterns/designs, even in the L1s, keep them from being over reflective. Maybe because what most people use as tops also contains a bass speaker whether crossed over or not. What I have to vouch for is the Clarity of Voice/mids. That is their strength.

I used them for many years without the controller as DJ Monitors and also as Tweeters or Midranges from my 3 way crossover. They were lacking their full performance as Full Range without their Controller, which I eventually bought from you. Again, when I use them with my Ashly 3 Way crossover, they sound real good as Mids or Highs.
