Right now I am planning on going to MBLV,,, and I would like to get a group of people to play golf on Monday... somehwere around noon-ish...

I am posting this on a few boards so it is not board specific.

Just for fun, and hanging out.. Usually I shoot in the mid 90's and so I ain't on great golfer, but I do enjoy it.

I'll be renting clubs there I think because the cost of flying them from Maui is , well the cost of flying from Maui is terrible, right now hovering around $1000.00!!!

Anyway, would love to have some fun like a couple of years ago when we had a group...

Maybe even see if some people would like to donate prizes... hummm,, hummm,, cough cough,,,You sponcors reading this?

I would love to...but I have no idea at this point if I'm going...hell, I don't know what I'm doing next week.

BTW, I too shoot in the mid 90s...on the front 9! :sqeek:
 
I have yet to decide if I will be attending this year. If I do I promise to go golfing. I may vacation on the same week and just not go to the convention.

I just priced it and I'm looking $1600 for the 2 of us roundtrip and 7 nights hotel. That's about $400 more than I paid last year before they comped my room.
 
Okay,,, I'm bumping this in hopes of stirring up some more peeps...

we do have some prizes that have been donated, and I can't tell you by who yet, but it will be well over $1000.00 worth of give-aways!!!

But that's not the important part, the important part is that you get to hang out with me! LOL

Maybe next year I will plan to make it for golf! Will still see everyone there!! :sqbiggrin:
 
This is NOT going to be a serious golf outing.... It is being posted on a number of boards so the main thing is networking and having fun... No politics, no us vs them, just DJs hitting some balls around the links and talking story afterward....

It's golf Maui Chuck style!!!!

I haven't decided if it will be a "best ball" deal... I think it will depend on how many people want to play, or end up playing.

Again, scoring is not the main deal. I'm sure there will be some more serious golfers out there in the bunch and if they want to "get a little something going" on the side, that will be up to them. However, I will NOT allow that to take over the "Aloha Vibe" that I want to have... Yep, I'm a pain! LOL

I am working on things being donated as prizes that will be done as a raffle not for scoring... So everyone will have a chance.

We do want to make it to Mobile Beat's night time activities, so you have a few months to warm up! LOL

I am going to limit the number of players but I have not decided on what that number will be.

Chuck I am going to Vegas this weekend for some R&R. I will possibly be playing a round of Golf.
 
My wife and I are now set to attend.

I will not be arriving until Monday so if anyone wants to golf Tues, Weds, Thurs or Friday hit me up.

I plan to book flights in the next day or so. If something changes and I can get in Sun. I will let you know.
 
Chuck won't be going, so I am trying to organize a Monday golf day at around 9-10 am. I will even spring for breakfast before hand.

If anyone will be there in time and wants to golf, send me a p.m.

Otherwise, I'll be taking all the prizes for myself! :sqcool:

Okay - so far it is Keith and I. Tee time is 2/16 @ 1:48pm at Desert Pines. Only $89 per player (includes cart). Anyone else care to join in and round out the foursome?

How 'bout this...for every stroke you beat me by, I will get you the equal percentage off EV / Dynacord gear at the show! Should be easy to end up with 30-40% off...I suck.
