All the craziest situations are based on noise complaints...

I had an angry neighbor living across the street from a venue fire their guns (just up in the air) to intentionally disrupt a wedding ceremony once. Needless to say... I didn't and won't go back to that venue.

Thats a big problem when a venue is in a residential area. A lot of people living there don't want loud music playing. The sad part is when you're forced to keep the volume for the music down to a whisper and you have a hard time hearing what you're doing.

As far as the story, if an owner of a venue feels they need to have a gun at the venue they need to either close the venue or move to a safe location. At least one that you don't feel you need to carry a firearm. If I found someone was having an event in that venue and wanted us to do the event I would pass on the event no matter how much they were willing to pay.
