Yes, I am running out of space! 2.5 car garage and I was taking up about 1/2 for the trailer with gear stored in it and then all the stuff that is not stored in the trailer is now creeping into the house somehow.

So right now, neither vehicle is being housed in the garage.

I probably should eliminate some stuff, but I come from that school of "I might need this someday.":sqwink:

I need to spend some time doing a reorganization of space and I should be able to get one of the vehicles back in the garage.

I have way too much stuff in my garage (61 T-Bird, 36 Ford, Honda Accord, tools, Etc.)
I sell the stuff I don't use, I'm a firm believer if I haven't used it in the past couple years, it needs to go.

Man I wish I could get myself in to that. I still have every mixer I ever owned hanging around here...They all still work albeit some better than others.

I have strobe lights I bought at RS in the late 80s still here (I actually used them around Halloween)

As mentioned I still have my B36s and a pair of MV15s that I have had for 20 years...I just love the sound of them I can't part with them

Two old Nikko amps and an old JVC amp.

Several tape decks and Turntables and CD decks along with about 10,000 45s and over 1000 albums and a few hundred cassettes.

Plus the gear I use every week

One day my wife will kill me :sqerr:
 
I think Jeff and Fred and I talked about this in the Mod's den a couple months ago.....

I'm runnin' outta space.....even though I tote everything in the trailer nowadays, I still need my work tables to work on and test the equipment.

I need to take a pic of the basement sometime to give a better perspective......'Course, that's what happens in my immediate and extended families.....I'm the only one with a basement (and a truck)....so I'm sure you all know what that means. People store their stuff in my basement and ask me to haul and tote stuff for them.

Maybe I oughta start charging rent! :sqlaugh:

I'm always thinking that. I need another place for my stuff!
 
Mine is now stored offsite at a storage place (as I am not using it as much these days)

especially when I am repairing computers and doing training most days

I have 2x sheds out the back that hold computer gear and one shed is the workshop as well
the room inside is the music library so thats where the music is stored (windows is borded up as well)

so nope not running outta space here :)
 
I always loved that bit from George Carlin.

I have way too much stuff for a single op and it is scattered around the house. Most of my equipment lives in the spare bedroom which is used as my office/ storage room, but the CPS stays in the living room where it is easy to work on. My larger outdoor speakers and cables stay in a trailer and seldom used equipment reside in a shed.

Too much stuff!!

You act like a basement is such and oddity. Over here in the east every house has a basment.

My house isn't very big but I have more than enough space. My basement is 1/2 garage and 1/2 untility room. I have 2 places in the untility room and most of the garage is full. I keep my bose, computers and unsued rack gear in my office. I DJ 6 days a week so my main system never gets unloaded from my truck.
 
We just moved to a bigger house because of STUFF - and that's when I pile all my equipment up in the basement and realized I have to sell some of it. Why does a single op like me need 5 sets of speakers? Do I really need all these stands? And why do I have all these CD's? (Actual questions from my friends/wife)
It does all get used at various points in the year, and its worth more to me than if I were to sell it on Craig's list.
 
It's all in the living room. Speakers serve as end tables, sub as tv stand, rack as coffee table and speaker stands as coat racks. It all works out.:sqbiggrin:
