Couple of pics.....Didn't bring any of the big cameras with us, so these were taken with the pocket Nikon..

Hey, Kirby. I have a thought which could break the bank (something the J Mac's used to). ;)

Your booth looks like one for a photographer, but there doesn't seem to be anything that shows it's also a DJ booth, aside from the sign. My idea is for you to rent 2 booths next time and do a double booth! Coreen can sell the photography service on one side and you could sell the DJ service on the other side. You would be keeping the photographer look on Coreen's side, but you could bring toys and music for your side of the booth. Both of you could still sell the photo+DJ package, but make the DJ portion appear as less of an afterthought.

It'll cost you double, so it's your decision on whether the potential ROI is worth it. Just a thought. :)

Nice booth Ball. I do a bridal fair every year for the last 7 or 8 years and every time someone asks "What is that you do?". Even with speakers, DJ Serivce on the banner, and Videos of the receptions.Oh well what can you say. How many brides do you have some to most of your Bridal fairs? I will start a new thread about Bridal Fair ideas.
Thanks Ball for the info.

soundimage 21: Nice and creative.

What's your backdrop? How far away is your projection? What projector are you using?

Any more pictures?

Thanks!

The backdrop is 4 white twin-size flat bed sheets purchased for $4 each at walmart with 6 par 64 LED uplights. If you unstitch the sides of the sheets near the top, you can slide the top pipe right through it. They are 96" tall so they are the perfect height.

The booth was 6 feet deep so the distance from the front of the projector to the back was probably 4 feet. The projector is a Source four Jr. Zoom.

This is the only picture I took, sorry...

Watch your wallet Mac! :D:sqlaugh:

We've purchased a double booth for 1 of the 4 shows.. :)....It would have been very costly to do all 4 with double booths.. :sqwink:

Very creative thinking...Great job! Your booth looks very sharp!

I was going to do two bridal shows this year, but in the past 3 days, I've recieved 4 inquiries & booked two of them. I'm not sure I have a need to do the shows now.

Awesome..

We've only got 11 weddings booked for 2010 so far and we wanted to fill in the blanks, so to speak. (Blame it on Dave Ramsey...):sqwink:

Overachiever...we're at 6

I did a bridal show yesterday as well. Here is a picture of my booth (taken with my phone)...

Can I just ask this

if I was in that booth and you do monogram lettering for shows already
wouldnt have been great to show off that with names (just first names) and a date of when these people got married

example:
john and Sally 10-10-00

Sue and Dave 10-01-08

Glenn and Michaela 07-07-07

anyway its something that who ever does a bridal fair should look into just to get that as a extra selling point

hope it gives you guys more ideas!! :sqwink:

Dang, looks like we gotta work hard, you guys are putting us to shame...

Btw Kirby, you may have an extra cat and teenager over us, but one of our cats eats like a teenager.

My first one will be next Sunday. I haven't done a Bridal Show in many years and if it wasn't for the fact that they contacted me and made me such a great deal, I probably wouldn't be doing this one.

My wife is helping me put together our setup....a mixture of my equipment and some girlie stuff. ;)

Last night, I created something that will be available for handing out, along with my business card, ink pen, candies, etc..

Printed this out on photo stock and cut a small white edge around the black border.

Randy, we find having some lifesavers type mints for people to take are great. A lot of times folks grab one, especially when the caterers forget to bring anything for after their samples.

Kirby,

Did you names and addresses from these brides? If you did, I have an unique idea for contacting them!

Best,

Dave

ps. Happy New Year Y'all!

Couldn't find any goats, so we're sending some customized post cards from SOC!

I'm splurging and going with the little chocolate mints...forget the name...but I luv them and if I have some left, I'll be able to eat them all. :sqwink:

Careful Randy, you'll end up with a chocolate gut like mine...:sqerr::sqwink:

Think we're going with some Dove miniature chocolates for the next show this Sunday. :)

We've also had a couple pics blown up to 16 x 20 and bought some nice frames so we can ditch the collage posters on the back wall. Should be a lot more eye-catching.

We've also printed up about 50 new 8 x 10 photos so the ladies can see what the pics look like enlarged and have put those in a new book. We were getting bored with using the same pics as last year, so decided to make the change.
