I love my EV SBA760s, of course I'm only pairing them with 2 EV SXA360s.

I have only used them 3 times and don't know if 1 SBA760 would cut it with the 250s?

I can tell you they sound freakin awesome indoors/outdoors - I used them at 2 wedding receptions and 2 outdoor movies (going to set up right now for 5.1 surround and 220" inflatable movie showing MJ's This Is It/Avatar using Blu Ray/Hi Def Projector).

Mr. Doucut are you out there?

Definitely, stick with EV for your sub cabinet. Matched brands tend to give a better overall tone than mismatched ones. They're designed to compliment each other. :)

Maybe because it's different outdoors, I can honestly say the SBA760s rock loud. I didn't even have it turned up half way at last night's movie showing and it was scary loud but in a good way! :tricool:

I was looking at that one but am concerned because it's only a 15" woofer.
That SBa760 is probably the loudest powered 15" bass-reflex woofer out there.
I was shocked at hard they thumped in comparison to my former HPR181i. It did not go quite as low but was louder and resonated everything in the room at 50Hz and up.
Get that EV for your tops... have your speaker components from the same company with the same logos. It's a very good sub. I'm not sure if it has casters on it.

I am picking up a pair of EV SxA250 speakers and am looking for a single sub to go with them. This set-up will be used for small bars with not more than 150 people. I am just looking for a lightweight set-up.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Do it right and get a pair of subs. Don't short change yourself by being lazy to move the damn gear! "Lightweight!....Sheesh

Have you tried them with your ZXA1's yet....? just curious on how that would sound.

Sorry I have an outdoor movie event on Saturday night.
